Described below is the simple four stage process for commissioning a wooden bespoke jewellery box for a man or woman or a wooden keepsake box. Contact us to discuss your commission at service@linksonjack.com.

1. Initial Custom Jewelry Box Discussions

It would be helpful when you get in touch about your commission if you have written down a description of the wooden box you would like, or have sketched it, even if roughly. If you have no idea what you would like, not to worry, we would ask you a set of questions concerning size, style, hardware, woods/veneer type in order to decide upon a set of details, which together will result in a hardwood box that will both appeal and be personal to you. We can provide samples of veneers and images of men's and women's wooden boxes to help you make up your mind about the custom box you would like to commission - be it a wooden valet or desk box for a man, or a wooden jewellery box for a woman, or a keepsake box for a baby.

2. Computer Generated Drawings

Having been briefed about your requirements we can send you a computer generated model for you to see a representation of your wooden jewelry box or keepsake box. Details can be changed or adjusted at this stage. Once the design has been agreed we can provide you with a quotation and an expected delivery date. You would be asked to pay a deposit of 50% prior to work commencing on making the wooden box.

3. Bespoke Wooden Box Creation

Owing to the nature of handmade wooden boxes, custom jewelry boxes and keepsake boxes currently take 8-12 weeks to complete, once the drawings have been approved. Whilst your bespoke wooden jewelry box or keepsake box is being made we will update you about its progress by email, with attached images. You are also welcome to contact us at any time to discuss your commission.

4. Delivery

When the custom jewelry box or keepsake box is completed we would request from you the remaining 50% of the cost of the box to be paid. After receiving the final balance we will arrange for your bespoke wooden box to be delivered in the same way as other goods sold through our store.
